DESCRIPTION: Google's mission\, to organize the world's information and ma
ke it universally accessible and useful\, is simple\, but it entails runni
ng a large number of very different applications and services from web sea
rch and advertising over video\, geo and commerce to enterprise. All this
is supported by a single underlying computing infrastructure\, Google's w
orldwide data centers. In this talk\, I will try to give an overview over
the software tools and strateies required to make efficient use of warehou
se-scale computers\, from Google File System and Bigtable over Mapreduce a
nd FlumeJava to Dremel/BigQuery and AppEngine\, with an emphasis on "big d
 ata" tools and cloud computing.\n\n
