DESCRIPTION:Nicky Clayton is Professor of Comparative Cognition in the Dep
 artment of Psychology at the University of Cambridge. Nicky’s research l
 ooks at the evolution and development of intelligence in non-verbal animal
 s and pre-verbal children. She’s perhaps best known for her work on “c
 lever birds”\, the corvids and their amazing ability to solve problems. 
 Nicky is also Rambert Dance Company’s first Scientist in Residence\, col
 laborating with Mark Baldwin\, the Artistic\nDirector\, on choreographic w
