DESCRIPTION:This talk will cover assessment of post-operative complication
 s\, detection of recurrence and detection of metastatic disease with the m
 ain focus of the talk being on the latter.\nImaging of post-operative comp
 lications is standard practise but some examples of less common imaging ap
 pearances will be demonstrated.\nThe role of surveillance mammography will
  be briefly discussed along with imaging modalities used to detect symptom
 atic recurrence.\nRoutine staging of patients with early breast cancer rem
 ains controversial with practise varying greatly. Available evidence will 
 be discussed.
