DESCRIPTION:The progress made in enabling pervasive positioning for mobile
  devices creates new opportunities for large-scale data collection of posi
 tion and sensor measurements. In this talk I will give an overview of rece
 nt contributions to pervasive positioning and new opportunities for data c
 ollection. Furthermore\, I will present work on using large-scale data col
 lection to recognize crowd behaviors and motivate new possibilities for Ec
 o-Feedback Technologies in context of the EcoSense project.
