DESCRIPTION:This seminar aims to start a conversation around the value and
ways of colleagues based in higher education working in partnership with
groups and networks of practitioners. The contributors work closely with d
ifferent groups of practitioners and we will briefly introduce and share o
ur experience of partnership working through the SUPER (Schools University
Partnership for Educational Research) partnership (Ros)\, progression rou
tes for researching professionals (Richard)\, the HertsCam network (David)
\, counselling (Carol in the Faculty and Lonnie in San Diego)\, and the Le
adership for Learning Network (Sue). We will not only celebrate the strong
tradition of partnership working in the Faculty and at the University of
San Diego and consider the importance of this but also start to explore co
mmonalities in our work and consider implications for future working. We a
ctively welcome colleagues from all of these networks and others who are i
nterested in learning more to come and meet like-minded individuals and to
  join the conversation.
