DESCRIPTION:Dr Califano’s lab have been leaders in the development of bi
 ochemically validated genomewide\nmaps of transcriptional and post-transcr
 iptional interaction in several human cell contexts\,\nincluding different
  cancer types and normal and tumour-related stem cells. The Califano lab i
 ntegrates\nthe development of analytical methodologies with high-throughpu
 t experimental assays\nfor data generation and biological/biochemical vali
 dation. In particular\, the lab have developed\nthe “master regulator”
  concept in human tumours and the “bottleneck” hypothesis of master\nr
 egulator function in glioma.
