DESCRIPTION:We’re delighted to welcome Sir Paul Nurse\, President of the
  Royal Society and Nobel prize-winning geneticist to speak in Cambridge on
  Thursday 13 December. \n\nSir Paul Nurse has been the President of the Ro
 yal Society since 1 December 2010. He is a geneticist who works on what co
 ntrols the division and shape of cells. He was Professor of Microbiology a
 t the University of Oxford\, CEO of the Imperial Cancer Research Fund and 
 Cancer Research UK and President of Rockefeller University New York. He is
  currently Director and Chief Executive of the Francis Crick Institute.\n\
 nPaul Nurse was awarded The Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine 2001 joi
 ntly with Leland H. Hartwell and Tim Hunt "for their discoveries of key re
 gulators of the cell cycle". For more information about this work please s
