DESCRIPTION:WiSETI (Women in Science\, Engineering and Technology Initiati
 ve) is hosting a Cake & Careers event in December specifically aimed at wo
 men PhD students and Postdocs in the Physical Sciences\, based in West Cam
 bridge (Physics\, Maths\, Manufacturing\, Computer Science and Engineering
 ).  \n\nThere will be a number of speakers drawn from different sectors in
 cluding academia and industry.  The aim of the sessions is to give the aud
 ience information about available careers options and information about th
 e work involved in these fields\, including details about specific jobs\, 
 what is appealing about them and why the speakers chose their particular r
 ole. \n\nIt’s a great opportunity for women to get together to network w
 ith researchers from different labs and subjects\, with the added bonus of
  free cake!\n\nThe talks will commence at 1.30pm and will finish with a sh
 ort Q&A session and a chance to network over cake and refreshments.\n\nSpe
