DESCRIPTION:The subject grew out of a math olympiad problem: The prez and 
 an assassin\nare in a room with reflecting walls. Assassin's bullets would
 \nhit the prez even after any number of ricochets off the walls.\nAs a res
 ult\, the assassin has at his disposal an infinitely many deadly\npossibil
 ities. The presidential security detail instantaneously\nposition themselv
 es at spots where they will intercept\noptimal subsets of deadly bullets.\
 nCan a finite number of security guards protect the prez?\n\nI will talk a
 bout mathematical ramifications of this question
