DESCRIPTION:Over the last few years there has been substantial effort in d
etermining the correlation functions produced by an epoch of primordial in
flation. Each correlation function depends on multiple energy scales\, and
the principal difficulty is to calculate their behaviour where these scal
es exhibit large hierarchies. I will outline recent progress in performing
these calculations and explain how it leads to an intuitive picture which
can be used to understand the time-dependence of the inflationary non-gau
 ssianity.
