DESCRIPTION:Bill taught in two Inner London Comprehensive Schools before j
 oining the Faculty in 2000 where he is responsible for The PGCE in Design 
 & Technology. Bill has been involved in 2 research projects recently-A GAT
 SBY funded project entitled Creativity in Design and Technology and an EPS
 RC funded project\, Designing Our Tomorrow (DOT)\, in collaboration with T
 he Engineering Department in Cambridge\, Loughborough School of Design\, a
 nd The Royal College of Art (RCA).  Bill will use his experience in school
 s as well as findings from his research to inform a presentation and group
  discussion on how the ‘T’ and the ‘E’ might be represented within
  STEM-something he believes is missing from current debates/investigations
  regarding STEM.
