DESCRIPTION:Many artists now use computers as an integral part of their pr
 actice. But common applications such as spreadsheets were designed for off
 ice tasks - they seem almost intentionally hostile to creative work. This 
 talk will describe a series of projects that have created new digital tool
 s for use by sculptors\, choreographers and visual artists. It's not clear
  whether this kind of programming is science\, art\, or perhaps craft - bu
 t feedback and discussion will be more than welcome!
