DESCRIPTION:The Facility for Airborne Atmospheric Measurements (FAAM) is a
  joint undertaking between the Meteorological Office and the Natural Envir
 onment Research Council.  A modified BAe146\, based at Cranfield Universit
 y in Bedfordshire\, undertakes a wide range of atmospheric measurements to
  support the dynamics of weather systems and chemistry and cloud physics s
 tudies.  Operating in the UK and abroad\, the aircraft is fitted with an e
 xtensive range of sensors and monitoring equipment.  Jamie will present an
  overview of the aircraft\, instrumentation flight operations and the use 
 of the acquired data.\n\n\nJamie Trembath is an Aerosol Instrument Scienti
 st and also Deputy Instrument Manager at the FAAM at Cranfield University.
