DESCRIPTION:Contact and symplectic geometry are very much related.\nAn ins
 tance of this relationship is the following. To any contact manifold M can
 \nbe associated a symplectic manifold SM called its symplectization. Topol
 ogically\,\nSM is just R x M. We will explain that some information is los
 t in the process:\nthere are contact manifolds (of any odd dimension great
 er than or equal to 5)\nwhich are not diffeomorphic but have symplectomorp
 hic symplectizations.
