DESCRIPTION:Levantine script is one of the Palaeohispanic scripts in use i
n the Iberian Peninsula between the Vth to the Ist century BC which have t
he widest area of diffusion. It’s attested from the Pais Valenciano\, in
Spain\, to the Gulf of Lion shore\, in Southern Gaul. The greatest part o
f this epigraphic documentation is belonging marks. The onomastic panorama
shows a multicultural landscape and a great complexity of linguistic cont
acts\, mostly between Celts and Iberians. The aim of this communication wi
ll be to specify the nature of these contacts and how did the local popula
tions use writing in these occasions.
