DESCRIPTION:Forensic archaeology and anthropology have a long history in t
 he Americas\, but in the UK we have only recently reached maturity with a
  professional body and regulatory system. I will describe the growth of t
 hese two linked disciplines and explain what we do\, a little of how we d
 o it\, and what it feels like to be a practitioner interrogating the ulti
 mate Silent Witness.
