DESCRIPTION:It will be shown how stochastic perturbations in certain param
eters of a perfect transfer protocol of a qubit along a chain can affect t
he fidelity of the operation\, in particular in the presence of memory eff
ects.\nWe will show that the insertion of noise into the protocol gives ri
se to a one-parameter family of completely positive maps whose composition
law reflects the presence of memory in the non-complete positivity of the
  intertwining maps.
