DESCRIPTION:Emotions and the self-regulation of emotions represent intertw
ined processes\, but the degree of their integration makes the subject of
a heated debate. This talk focuses on how to measure the transactional\nre
lationship between emotions and emotion regulation during interaction\, at
a microanalytic scale. It then examines modalities to embed this process-
oriented approach into more normative analyses (structural\nequation model
ling) to examine how the process changes as children develop from age 2 to
  age 3.
