DESCRIPTION:The talk is concerned with a flow of electrically charged liqu
 id running through a narrow channel with charged walls. In such a flow the
  electrokinetic phenomenon of streaming potential\, which arises as a cons
 equence of formation of the electric double layer on the solid-liquid inte
 rface\, is\nrelevant. In the seminar\, we explore how the streaming potent
 ial affects the stability of the plane Poiseuille flow.
