 tract\nOver the past year\, members of GreenBRIDGE and CUECS (Cambridge Un
 iversity Environmental Consulting Society) have been working on an ongoing
  project to produce ‘Sustainable Strategies in Cambridge Colleges’\, a
  report on the current state of college sustainability. Inspired by work c
 arried out by CUECS  on the Green League Table over the last few years\, t
 his project has seen volunteers interviewing a range of different stakehol
 ders including college staff\, students and local architects\, gathering i
 nformation on different green projects\, reaching a third of colleges so f
 ar.\n\nThis seminar will present the findings of the project so far\, show
 ing some key project case studies that have been identified so far\, and d
 iscussing the strategies adopted. The session will also include presentati
 ons from Dick Taplin\, Junior Bursar of Downing College\, to discuss recen
 t measures and initiatives that Downing has put in place to reduce the col
 lege’s environmental impact\, and from Jonathan Capek of Caroe Architect
 ure\, discussing the recent work on the St John’s School of Pythagoras\,
  turning the oldest academic building in Cambridge into the college’s ne
 w archive centre.
