DESCRIPTION:Of the genera of 'living stone' succulent plants\, Lithops is 
 perhaps the genus most people think of\, but the Mesembryanthemum family i
 ncludes many others\, with all kinds of growth forms. They are all native 
 to Southern Africa\, apart from a few 'weedy' kinds which have spread worl
 dwide.
