DESCRIPTION:Abstract:\nThe development of organic and bio-compatible mater
ials and devices requires a better understanding of their structure\, micr
o- and macroscopic properties. The aim of this talk is to demonstrate the
advantages of IR optical methods for investigation of structural\, charge\
, and energy dynamics in molecular systems. I will outline the opportuniti
es which IR radiation provides for a low-perturbative control of organic m
aterials/nanodevices and discuss how such experiments can help linking mic
roscopic and macroscopic understandings of nanosystems.\n
