DESCRIPTION:Recent investigations have revealed a beautiful structure in o
pen string tree-level amplitudes: they can be organized in terms of classe
s of multiple zeta values\, which in turn provide the link to a related Ho
pf-algebra structure.\nWhile the open string tree-level function can be wr
itten in an extraordinarily simple form\, the actual calculation was subje
ct to difficulties and thus confined to low multiplicities and low orders
in the inverse string tension. In this talk I will describe how to employ
polylogarithms in order to algebraically obtain results for any multiplici
ty efficiently. Those results can be used to test the underlying algebra f
 or previously unaccessible scenarios.
