DESCRIPTION:Service orientation in the defence and aerospace industries th
 rough Industrial Product-Service Systems (e.g. availability contracts) is 
 creating challenges in cost estimation due to uncertainties. The talk init
 ially introduces the topic of uncertainty in service delivery\, which subs
 equently leads to a classification of uncertainties. Then\, processes\nfor
  uncertainty based service cost estimation will be explained. The presenta
 tion will subsequently demonstrate a software application to incorporate t
 he influence of uncertainty to cost. Finally\, future research directions 
 will be presented.
