DESCRIPTION:Dr Boze Hancock is the Marine Restoration Scientist for the Gl
 obal Marine Team at The Nature Conservancy\, with over 25 years of experie
 nce in marine conservation and management. Boze will provide a brief intro
 duction into the current state of the marine environment\, and some of the
  ground breaking work that is being undertaken by The Nature Conservancy t
 o counter these trends. Such efforts require continued proof-of-concept sc
 ale projects as well as scaling up the application of many of the techniqu
 es developed in recent years. This talk will provide insights into the pra
 cticalities of marine conservation\, as well as insights into what can be 
 achieved through providing vision.
