DESCRIPTION:In a world where computers are increasingly powerful\, the Ras
 pberry Pi resembles little more than a small piece of exposed circuit boar
 d. Eben Upton\, one of the creators of the Raspberry Pi\, explains why he 
 set out to design a computer so affordable that every child in Britain cou
 ld have one\, and discusses the staggering response to the Raspberry Pi.\n
 \nEben Upton is a Technical Director for Broadcom\, and also a founder and
  trustee of the Raspberry Pi Foundation\, responsible for the overall soft
 ware and hardware architecture of the Raspberry Pi device. He studied Phys
 ics and Engineering at the University of Cambridge and went on to do the C
 ambridge Diploma in Computer Science\, graduating in 2001. Upton completed
  his PhD in the University of Cambridge Computer Laboratory\, and then com
 pleted an executive MBA at the Judge Business School while working in indu
 stry. Prior to working at Broadcom\, Upton was Director of Studies in Comp
 uter Science at St John's College\, Cambridge. He has been a visiting Rese
 archer at Intel Corporation\, Founder and Chief Technology Officer at Idea
