DESCRIPTION:Sequence of cell-physiological responses arranged via axis of
cell adhesion –\nchemotaxis – phagocytosis\, embodies one of the most
fundamental elements of\nfunctional biology. Migratory responsiveness of
cells is in the focus of the\nmatrix describing the interaction of the thr
ee components and provides\ncharacteristic links between the members of th
e system. Integrated cellular\,\nbiomaterial and functional complexity of
the system justify the description of\n’Chemotaxome’ as a new member o
f ’Class Omes’\, which recommendation is\nsupported by different level
s of systems biology.\nThe most significant components of the network are
 summarized in the next\npoints: (i) potential for migartion is a basic\, h
owever\, individual entity of\nprokaryotic (bacteria) and eukaryotic cells
  (i.e. ciliates\, amoebas\, sperm\,\nWBCs etc.) belonging to different ta
 xa (Taxonome)\; (ii) itself\nchemotaxis/chemokinesis represent a character
istic type of cell biological\nresponses and covers a wide scale of respon
ses in healthy tissues/individuals\n(i.e. fertilization\, differentiation
of tissues\, angiogenesis) as well as in\npathological cases (i.e. inflamm
ation\, metastasis formation) with a special\nrespect on the clinical app
roaches of the field (Functiome)\; (iii) classes of\nsignalling molecules
(i.e. chemokines\, formyl peptides as well as\nnon-professional chemoattra
ctants) are required for chemotaxis\, while\nchemotaxis receptors (i.e. FP
R\, CCR\, CXCR) and their intracellular signalling\npathways have unique s
ensitivity towards to the triggering chemoattractant\n(Ligandome\, Regulom
 e\, Interactome\, Proteome-Glycome-Lipidome)\; genetic\ndetermination of a
ll the interacting components mentioned above are coded in\nthe DNA of th
 e cell (i.e. IL-8 - 4q13-q21\; IL-8R - 2q35-2q36.1) (Genome)\;\nwhile comp
lex relations of molecular genetic backgrounds and phylogenetic\napproach
es (i.e. amino acids of prebiotic soup\; chemotactic selection) are\nbelo
nging to the molecular aspects of evolution (Phylogenome).\nGlory of the f
ield is gained from a list of famous researchers of post and\npresent (Lee
 uwenhoek\, Engelmann\, Pfeffer\, Metchnikoff and Adler) who contribute\nwi
th novel theoretical (i.e. bacterial network of Che peptides) and practica
l\nparts (i.e. new assays\; molecular genetic evaluation) of the field. On
the\nbasis of the above described system a complete and extensive\, Chemo
 taxome\nspecific network of informatics\n(sequence-structure-expression-pa
thway-regulation) could be also designed with\na high significance in resp
ect of citation of chemotaxis and its scientific\nsynonyms in contrast oth
er\, non chemical stimuli induced migratory responses.\n
