DESCRIPTION:The study of the entanglement content of many body quantum sys
 tems has prompted an\nintense research activity at the crossroad of differ
 ent disciplines such as statistical mechanics\,\nquantum information\, con
 densed matter\, and quantum field theory.\nThe quantification of the entan
 glement allowed a novel and finer characterization\nof many extended quant
 um systems.\nIn this talk I will present systematic methods to calculate t
 he entanglement entropy and\nnegativity in the ground state of 1+1 dimensi
 onal quantum field theories\, with particular\nemphasis on conformal invar
 iant ones.\nI will show how to apply these powerful tools to the calculati
 on of the entanglement of a\nsingle interval\, and the generalization to d
 ifferent situations such as the case of several\ndisjoint intervals.
