DESCRIPTION:Rho GTPases\, best known for their regulatory role in actin dy
namics\, stimulate a variety of processes important in control of vascular
  function\, including morphogenesis\, migration\, cell proliferation and a
dhesion\, cell survival\, gene expression\, vesicle transport and micropar
ticle formation. Recent data implicate Rho GTPase RhoB in the regulation o
f pulmonary vascular remodelling in pulmonary hypertension. This lecture w
ill discuss signalling mechanisms involved in Rho-induced pulmonary vascul
ar dysfunction and identify potential targets for pharmacological interven
 tion.
