DESCRIPTION:I have been working on an apparatus to sense and describe the 
 activities of live-alone elderly and infirm.  I have devised a small weara
 ble device that transforms raw sensor data into a very simple\, yet useful
  activity model.  This spin on the "Internet of Things" may be of value to
  to domain experts who don't wish to spend years learning about ranging ra
 dios and signal processing.  My specific technical goals are: automaticall
 y to recognize patterns of behavior\, spot situations of concern\, and to 
 detect very slow physical changes in behavior.
