DESCRIPTION:Aston Martin is implementing a business wide ERP program. The 
 presentation is based on the real-world experiences of data management whe
 re the goal is to deliver sustained efficiency gains across the total busi
 ness process by\nremoving data scrap and rework from within the discrete p
 rocess steps.\n\nBio:\n\nSince 2005 Mike Gibson has worked for Aston Marti
 n\, routinely reporting at director level with direct responsibility for b
 usiness critical data reporting\nand process improvement / business re-eng
 ineering. As Data Lead for the company-wide ERP implementation Mike is res
 ponsible for the cross functional alignment and data migration of 11 works
 treams. \n\nMike is a recognised subject matter expert for warranty having
  developed Aston Martin's warranty cost management model\, which has been 
 incorporated into Microsoft's Dynamics AX platform. To quantify the models
  competitive advantage he developed the Cost to Knowledge Ratio\, which wa
 s published in 2009 by Larry P English in his book 'Information Quality Ap
 plied: Best Practices for\nImproving Business Information\, Processes and 
 Systems'.  From 1995 to 2005 Mike worked for Land Rover where he was a com
 pany specialist in On Board Diagnostic\nsystems (OBDII) specialising in fi
 eld based evaluation and problem resolution.
