 RSE\, Distinguished Scientists at Microsoft Research\, presented the 2008 
 Royal Institution Christmas Lectures. He has won the Edinburgh University 
 Tam Dalyell prize for excellence in engaging the public with science\, and
  the Rooke Medal for public engagement from the Royal Academy of Engineeri
 ng. \n\nFree admission. Open to the public. Suitable for GCSE students. No
