DESCRIPTION:The talk will explore the scale at which cells\, including MSC
 s (Mesenchymal Stem Cells) can respond to nanoscale information. Particula
 rly discussed will be filopodial interaction\, MSC targeted osteogenesis a
 nd MSC growth with retention of MSC phenotype using nanotopographies. Also
  discussed will be MSC metabolomics and selection of functional small mole
 cules using nano fibrous hydrogels and recent observations on 'nanokicking
 ' MSCs to form bone.
