DESCRIPTION:I hope to give an introduction to:\n\n- Why natural ventilatio
n?\n- The theory of natural ventilation\n- Laboratory modelling of ventila
tion flows\n\nAnd then introduce my research\, as a case study. This work
focuses on interactions between wind and buoyancy in natural ventilation\,
which\, even with simple geometries\, can produce complicated nonlinear r
esults with multiple flow regimes and multiple steady states. \n\nI'll dis
cuss both theory and experiment\, and I'll look ahead to future work and t
 o applications in real buildings.\n\n
