DESCRIPTION:In the light of the upcoming centenary\, we are gathering four
  current post-graduate historians\, whose doctoral research treats of four
  very different aspects of First World War history\, ranging from subjects
  as diverse as British signals intelligence to the Anglo-German naval race
 \, and sprawling geographically from Ireland to the cities of the Eastern 
 Mediterranean.\n\nOur speakers will each briefly present their research an
 d Prof Biagini shall moderate a roundtable discussion with an strong empha
 sis on debating the impact of the centenary on the upcoming generation of 
 historians.
