DESCRIPTION:Paul Christodoulou from IfM ECS will share with us the last 10
  years of collaboration between IfM and a range of industrial partners on 
 the topic of ‘global manufacturing strategy’. The talk will describe t
 he background research and how this has been used in live strategy project
 s with a number of leading multi-national companies (via IfM’s Education
  and Consultancy Services commercial vehicle). It will include lessons lea
 rnt in\n \n•          how to find appropriate industrial partners\n•  
         how to structure collaborative projects\n•          how to balan
 ce the needs of industrial and academic stakeholders \n \nThe talk will co
 nclude by outlining the next steps in collaborative research in this excit
 ing field.\n
