DESCRIPTION:I will describe how the interior of a black hole can be recons
 tructed from the point of view of the dual gauge theory in the framework o
 f the AdS/CFT correspondence. I will argue that the infalling observer doe
 s not notice anything special when crossing the horizon and that it is pos
 sible to resolve the information paradox without dramatic violations of ef
 fective field theory\, in contrast to predictions by the recent fuzzball a
 nd firewall proposals.
