 versity will introduce his most recently co-authored paper with Mike Grego
 ry\, published in the Proceedings of the Institution of Mechanical Enginee
 ring\, Part B: Journal of Engineering Manufacture. Yufeng is ex-IfM collea
 gue and a lecturer in Birmingham Business School where he is teaching Oper
 ations Management.\n\nYufeng will explore the unique nature of engineering
  and the key challenges in strategic decision making\, followed by suggest
 ing three sets of typical decision frames for engineering operations and s
 etting directions for the future research. He would also like to draw a li
 nk to the ongoing EU FP7 project Europe-China High Value Engineering Netwo
 rk (EC-HVEN) with a critical reflection on the first year explorations and
