DESCRIPTION:We present matrix refactorization problems related to Lax repr
 esentations of Yang-Baxter maps. First degree polynomial Lax matrices can 
 be considered as basic building blogs of higher dimensional Yang-Baxter ma
 ps. Initial value problems on lattices give rise to families of Poisson ma
 ps which preserve the spectrum of their monodromy matrix.\n
