DESCRIPTION:In recent years\, we have investigated integrable discretizati
ons of nonlinear partial differential equations in which singularities of
solutions exist. For PDEs in this class\, we obtained several discrete int
egrable systems with self-adaptive moving mesh which can be used for numer
ical simulations of nonlinear PDEs. Both the Hirota's discretization metho
d and a geometric method are effective to construct self-adaptive moving m
esh discrete integrable systems. In this talk\, I will review recent our r
esults of discrete integrable systems with self-adaptive moving mesh. This
is joint work with Bao-Feng Feng and Yasuhiro Ohta.\n
