DESCRIPTION:Two deep ice cores were drilled at Dome Fuji\, East Antarctica
  by the Japanese Antarctic Research Expedition teams. The first and second
  cores were drilled down to 2403m and 3035m\, respectively. The second cor
 e goes back to 700\,000 years ago. I will first introduce brief history of
  the Dome Fuji drilling. I will then discuss the climatic and environmenta
 l changes recorded at Dome Fuji\, and compare them with those at Dome C.
