DESCRIPTION:I will present recent results of W and Z production in the for
 ward region from the LHCb experiment. Inclusive and differential measureme
 nts in the muon decay channel (for the W and Z bosons) and in the electron
  decay channel (for the Z boson) shall be discussed. Measurements of jet p
 roduction in associated with a Z boson will also be presented. These resul
 ts probe regions of phase space inaccessible to the general purpose detect
 ors\, and can therefore be used to place important constraints on Parton D
 istribution Functions. In addition\, ratios of these measurements can be u
 sed to make precision tests of the Standard Model. Measurements of Z boson
  decays to tau-leptons shall also be presented\, as these can be used to p
 lace limits on models of physics beyond the Standard Model.\n\nI shall als
 o discuss related future measurements at LHCb\, including measurements of 
 single top quark and top quark pair production. The forward region offers 
 unique potential to probe the possible tension in the top pair forward-bac
 kward asymmetry seen at the Tevatron. LHCb also has the potential to make 
 the most precise measurement of sin2(theta_W) at the LHC. \n
