DESCRIPTION:A long standing approximation in parton showers is to\nassume 
 that nature has an infinite number of colours\nrather than three.\n\nSo fa
 r this approximation seems to have done reasonably\nwell. However\, as the
  number of coloured partons - as well as the demands for accuracy - increa
 se\, there are reasons to go beyond this limit.\n\nIn this talk I will rep
 ort on progress towards exact Nc=3\ntreatment of colour space. I will also
  shed some light on\nthe remaining challenges.
