DESCRIPTION:This Horizon event will present some of the ground breaking re
 search conducted in physics at the world famous Cavendish Laboratory. Our 
 objective is to explore the unexpected relationships between far-out scien
 ce and breakthrough technology or applications of the future. Experts from
  optoelectronics\, quantum science\, astronomy\, biological physics and li
 fe science engineering will demonstrate how their research and methodologi
