DESCRIPTION:Spatially modulated phases are widespread in nature. Holograph
 ically they are described by novel black hole solutions. The talk will foc
 us on two topics. The first is some general results on the thermodynamics 
 of periodic black branes. The second is the construction of some new super
 conducting p-wave and (p+ip)-wave black holes.\n
