DESCRIPTION:We combine the latest advances in modularity lifting with a\n3
 -5-7 modularity switching argument to prove the result of the title.\n\nWe
  use this to prove that the exponent in the Fermat equation over Q(\\sqrt{
 d}) is effectively bounded with d = 3 mod 4 or d = 6 or 10 mod 16. This is
  based on joint work with Nuno Freitas (Bayreuth) and Bao Le Hung (Harvard
 ).
