DESCRIPTION:Modified gravity models not only provide an alternative explan
ation of the accelerated expansion of the Universe\, but also have scale-d
ependent effects on gravity and structure formation. Detailed predictions
deep in the nonlinear regime are required for a faithful comparison of suc
h models to observations. They can be obtained from cosmological simulatio
ns that account for the modifications of gravity. We will present a new co
de that is well suited for this purpose\, as well as discuss first science
applications. In particular\, we have investigated degeneracies of modifi
ed gravity effects in chameleon type f{R}-models with uncertainties in the
baryonic physics. Understanding them will be of critical importance for s
uccessfully detecting or reliably ruling out modified gravity models with
 upcoming surveys.
