DESCRIPTION:Thoughts about moral obligations have some peculiar features. 
 I will give an account of these features by referring to the structure of 
 certain emotional tendencies. I will show how these tendencies may have ev
 olved in Late Pleistocene hunter-gatherers. I will point out some implicat
 ions of my account.
