 argely focuses on applying both organic and inorganic geochemical techniqu
 es in order to reconstruct palaeotemperatures\, palaeoenvironments and pal
 aeoceanographic conditions for warmer climates of the past. I am currently
  a postdoctoral researcher on the NERC-funded PALEOPOLAR project using org
 anic geochemical methods\, in particular the reconstruction of soil temper
 atures\, to investigate the Late Cretaceous to early Paleogene climate of 
 Seymour Island\, Antarctica.
