 ll present a series of new laboratory experiments\, using dye attenuation 
 imaging\, to measure the mixing in a turbulent gravity current. Results ar
 e applied to interpret the hazards associated with a large release of dens
 e gas. \n\nCharacterisation of Flux Sensitivity to Uncertainty in Porous M
 edia - Alex Evans\n\nUncertainty in estimates of rock permeability leads t
 o uncertainty in estimates of derived flow quantities. I will present an a
 pproach to efficiently quantify the uncertainty of flux estimates as a fun
 ction of permeability uncertainty. I will also highlight how estimates of 
 flux uncertainty are sensitive to the model used to represent the permeabi
 lity field. \n\n\n\n
